Kata Beach & Karon Beach Nightlife

Kata is very different from Patong - no discos, nightclubs or shows, but there are some excellent restaurants and cafe/bars which open on to the street with good music, TV and pool tables. Stylish cocktails or a place to meet?

Check out Cafe Del Mar for chilled out music overlooking the high street. The Blue Fin Tavern or Charlie Chaplin's located on the same street are local expat favourites and good places to watch the world go by.

Kata even has its own English pub serving draught beer close to Charlie Chaplins.

For an alternative night out, get your energy flowing with a foot massage at the Reflexology Centre on the high street or, a great pedicure and foot massage at Piroh's Beauty Salon, behind the Good Earth Bookshop. Very local, friendly and inexpensive.
